Early/mid 19th century in appearance, but possible dating from about 1794-1809 when the Crinan Canal was built. 3-storey block with low wing to left. Rubble-built. At ground, 7 alternate door/window openings, 3 regular window bays above, sashes with 4-pane glazing pattern. Massive end stacks; slate roof. Rear elevation also 3 bays, small-paned sash windows, inner windows set between floors, presumably to light stair; also access bridge to door at 1st floor level. Wing is non-domestic, single storey, centre loft gable, timber-lintelled wide opening left.
