Mid 19th century. Single storey and attic, 3-bay, L-plan former farmhouse. Tooled coursed granite rubble finely finished to margins. Long and short dressings; canted dormers to attic floor.
E (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: symmetrical; corniced with consoles doorway to centre of ground floor, panelled timber door with 2-pane fanlight; window to each flanking bay. 2-light skylight to centre of attic floor, flanked to left and right by dormers.
N ELEVATION: asymmetrical; 2-bay; gabled bay to left with window to ground floor; small skylight to right bay of attic floor.
W ELEVATION: asymmetrical; gabled bay advanced to left; lean-to conservatory to ground floor, window set in gablehead; right return and left bay not seen 1998.
S ELEVATION: near-symmetrical; gabled with single storey addition advanced to left of ground floor.
Predominantly 12-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof with stone ridge. Coped stone skews with simple skewputs. Tooled coped granite gablehead stacks with circular and octagonal cans. Cast-iron rainwater goods.
INTERIOR: not seen 1998.
Small traditional farmhouse retaining much of its original detailing and character.
