1846. Railway tunnel on Kinghorn to Burntisland route. Ashlar tunnel entrance with flat-coped rubble approach walls. Single segmental arch with flanking pilasters and attenuated voussoirs giving way to cornice and deep blocking course below cavetto cornice and block pediment.
The Kinghorn to Burntisland section of the Edinburgh and Northern Railway Line was built between 1846 and 1847.
