Later 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay irregular-plan house. Painted render. Painted margins to windows.
E (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: central corniced doorpiece; recessed timber door; letterbox fanlight. Single windows flanking at ground; windows aligned above at 1st floor break eaves to form gables.
N (REAR) ELEVATION: modern single storey wing.
10-pane sash and case windows. Grey slate roof; stone skews; gablehead stacks; polygonal cans.
INTERIOR: not seen 1999.
BOUNDARY WALLS, GATEPIERS AND OUTHOUSE: rubble drumpiers, domed caps; rubble boundary wall enclosing site; rubble outhouse to W.
A good example of later Victorian building, notable for its gabled dormers, a common feature of the region and its doorpiece. The house stands opposite Gruesey, the former UF manse (see separate list description).
