Late 18th to early 19th century. 2-storey and attic, 3-bay, rectangular-plan house with pilastered, corniced and block-pedimented doorpiece. Coursed, squared rubble with contrasting raised quoins and margins, dry-dash to rear. Base and eaves courses.
SE (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: symmetrical. 2-leaf door with decoratively-astragalled fanlight to centre, windows in flanking bays and regular fenestration to 1st floor, small piended dormer windows over outer bays and modern rooflight to centre.
SW ELEVATION: gabled elevation with window to centre at ground and further window off centre right at 1st floor.
Small-pane non-traditional double glazing. Broad, coped ashlar gablehead stacks with some cans and ashlar-coped skews.
INTERIOR: some decorative cornicing and black marble fireplace (painted).
BOUNDARY WALLS AND GATEPIERS: coped rubble and harl boundary walls with pyramidally-coped, square-section rubble gatepiers.
The property has lost value by the introduction of modern windows, the former 3-dimensional, recessing and textural effects replaced by flush, reflective glazing.
