Earlier 19th century. Single segmental arch skew bridge with flanking pilaster-buttresses. Rock-faced ashlar with heavily dressed, rock-faced voussoirs. Band course at springing point continuing under intrados. Band course to wallhead below coped parapet. Further pilaster-buttresses to approach walls.
Railway no longer in use. Line extending further to W. Built as part of the Scottish North Eastern Railway extended from Newtyle along the Strathmore Vale to Market Muir in 1837.
