Late 19th to early 20th century. Grey and pink polished granite drinking fountain sited to W of St Magnus Cathedral. Square-plan pedestal on stepped base; drinking bowls to NE and SW faces; blank round-arched plaques to remaining faces; block-pedimented cornice; urn-finialled tapering column above. Inscised band decoration to column.
This drinking fountain stands in a prominent position in front of St Magnus Cathedral and on the corner of Palace Road and Broad Street.
