Description

Robert Burn, 1800. 3-storey with mansard attic and basement, 3-bay terraced classical house. Painted droved sandstone ashlar. Cill band at ground, full-width decorative iron balcony at 1st floor, cornice and blocking course, entrance platts oversailing basement. Pilastered and corniced doorpiece with decorative capitals and rosette motif.

S (FORTH STREET) ELEVATION: broad tripartite doorway with timber panelled door and segmental-arched fanlight to left with windows in bays remaining, regular fenestration above with 3 dormer windows to mansard roof.

Timber sash and case windows with predominantly 4-pane glazing, grey slates, gablehead stack with terracotta can, decorative cast-iron railings.

INTERIOR: not seen 1998 .
