Description

Late 18th century. 2-storey, 3-bay house in regular to SW. Coursed squared rubble with stone margins and ashlar quoin strips.

SE (MAIN STREET) elevation: symmetrical. Ground floor with boarded timber door and flanking windows, regular fenestration to 1st floor.

NE ELEVATION: single storey projection (No 15 Main Street) to right.

NW (REAR) ELEVATION: catslide roof to projecting centre bay

with door to ground and window at 1st floor, further window to right at ground.

12-pane and plate glass glazing patterns in timber sash and case windows. Coped ashlar stacks with polygonal cans; ashlar-coped skews and moulded skewputts.

Statement of Interest

Formerly a bankhouse with the adjoining bank at No 19 (listed separately). Group with 7-15, 19 and 6-28 Main Street.
