Eroded stone close to mort-house with cartouche in pediment and flanking skulls; headstone (to NE of church door) to George Nicol (died 1786) with carved hand and plume on one side, spade and rake (gardener's emblems) on other. Further 18th Century stones including example with baker's symbols dated 1744. Distinctive headstone to local stone carver, William Taylor (died 1881) with elaborately carved niche. Memorial of life-size seated child by Pilkington Jackson to child prodigy Marjory Fleming, 'Pet Marjorie', erected 1935 with original stone to rear "M F 1811".
