Mid 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay symmetrical house. Coursed, snecked sandstone to S; rubble sandstone to E. Dividing band course; quoins; long and short surrounds to openings; projecting cills.
S (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: 2 steps to timber door at centre; fanlight; single window aligned at 1st floor. Single windows to ground and 1st floor in flanking bays. Right bay joins at roof and 1st floor to form entrance to carpark at rear and link to new extension.
W ELEVATION: single window at centre ground; small window to outer left at 1st floor.
8-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slate piended roof; wallhead stack; replacement rainwater goods.
INTERIOR: not seen 1997.
BOUNDARY WALLS, GATEPIERS AND GATES: coped rubble wall. Cast-iron piers and gates to pedestrian and vehicular entrances.
One of the few surviving mid-Victorian buildings on St John's Road. A modest building with some simple details; retains original glazing.
