Mid 19th century, re-worked in later 19th century. Single storey and attic, rectangular-plan house. Painted sandstone ashlar to front, snecked rubble stone to sides and rear, base course, cornice and blocking course.
E (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: symmetrical. Entrance door to centre recessed in doorpiece with shouldered head and rectangular fanlight. Raised semi-circular feature to blocking course above. Bay to right: tall bipartite slightly projecting with raised moulded margins. Dormer above with timber pediment, consoles and moulded margins. Bay to left: canted, 3 light window, plain margins. Dormer above to match other. Later flat-roofed ashlar fronted garage to left abutting with no 21. Later ashlar wall to right abutting with no 25.
S ELEVATION: gable end, with garage advanced.
N ELEVATION: blank gable end.
2-pane timber sash and case windows to ground floor, E front. Modern windows to dormers. Grey slate, ashlar coped skews, ashlar gablehead stacks with bracketed cornices, polygonal cans.
INTERIOR: not seen, 1996.
BOUNDARY WALL: lowered, harled and painted wall to E, rubble stone to N and S.
