Description

Circa 1815. 2 storey, 4 bay, symmetrical pair of classical houses. Cream sandstone ashlar, painted to No 13; rubble to sides and rear. Cill course to 1st floor windows; architraves to windows to No 12; cornice; blocking course raised at centre and terminal dies.

W (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: doorways to central bays; panelled doors; plate glass fanlights; pilasters to corniced doorpieces; single windows to 1st floor above. Single windows to both floors in outer bays.

12 pane, timber sash and case windows. Grey slate piended roofs; rendered and coped wallhead stacks; moulded cans.

INTERIOR: not seen 1996.

BOUNDARY WALLS AND PEDESTRIAN GATES: low coped rubble walls to street and to S; high rubble wall to N. Pedestrian gates adjoining to N and S.
