Description

W Dow, 1908, altered at ground. 2-storey with attic, 3-bay Edwardian Baroque bank. Ashlar. Ground floor cornice and mutuled eaves cornice. Architraved, canopied windows to 1st floor and centre attic; open pediments, keystones. Stone mullions.

N (HIGH STREET) ELEVATION: symmetrical. Polished granite pier to centre at ground with flanking display windows, door to outer left and pend door to outer right: 1st floor pedimented window with keystone and scroll bracket to centre, bipartite windows in flanking bays: centre window above with larger pediment and broad stack, keystone extending to tympanum and decorative flanking brackets; pedimented timber dormer windows in mansard to outer bays.

Plate glass glazing in timber sash and case windows, fixed windows to ground floor. Grey slates to mansard. Ashlar coped skews and coped ashlar stacks with cans.
