Early 20th century with later additions and alterations. 2-storey with attic, 2-bay terraced tenement with commercial accommodation at ground and classical details. Polished ashlar, deeply-channelled at ground. Balustraded aprons and pilastered margins to windows at 1st floor; mutuled cornice at eaves; keystone to each opening.
NW (HIGH STREET) ELEVATION: broad window at ground, bay to left with coupled windows at 1st floor above. Panelled and partly glazed 2-leaf door with plate glass rectangular fanlight above single similar door to outer right, within opening in bay to right; windows at 1st floor as in bay to left.
SE ELEVATION: harled with single storey red brick addition.
Metal multi-paned windows at 1st floor; plate glass fixed window at ground. Slate roof with platform at apex. Coped stacks. Modern box-dormers to each bay.
INTERIOR: not seen, 1995.
There had been a building on this site from before 1823. Circa 1880, it took the form of a 2-storey, 3-bay terraced building.
