Post 1865. 2-storey, 3-bay gabled villa. Whinstone and sandstone rubble with harl-pointing; rusticated sandstone margins and dressings; chamfered reveals; bull-faced rusticated quoins; base course.
SW (MAIN) ELEVATION: broad gable to outer left, full-height bow on slightly battered base. Gabled, bargeboarded porch in re-entrant angle to right, door on right return, small window above. Tripartite window at ground to right, round-headed window above, gable breaking eaves above.
SE ELEVATION: asymmetrical M-gable with service block to outer right, canted window at ground left.
Plate glass timber sash and case windows; grey slate roof, coped polygonal apex stacks with tall octagonal ashlar cans, 2 sets of paired stacks.
