Early 19th century with subsequent alterations. 3-storey and attic 5-bay former tenement. Painted droved sandstone ashlar. Mansard roof.
S ELEVATION: segmental-headed windows at ground with door between outer right bays; recessed windows to upper floors with similar aprons. Raised eaves course with dormers to each bay.
N ELEVATION: 6-bay; coursed rubble; slapping at ground to right; raised eaves and dormers as above.
Modern metal and timber glazing. Mansard roof with grey slates; remains of ashlar stack to W.
INTERIOR: not seen 1995.
Owned by and connects with the Standard Life premises at No 3 George Street (see separate listing).
