Earlier 19th century, with later addition. 2 storey, 3 bay house in terraced pair . Droved ashlar with squared and snecked rubble to sides and rear, rusticated quoins and polished margins. Base course, eaves cornice. Architraved openings, those to S canopied with fluted frieze at ground and bracketed at 1st floor.
S (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: symmetrical. Deep set, part glazed timber door at centre with 2 pane fanlight in corniced, architraved surround with fluted frieze, windows in flanking bays, regular fenestration at 1st floor.
E ELEVATION: window to outer left at 1st floor and gablehead stack; return elevation of extension projecting at outer right with door to left, adjacent window to right, window in gablehead and adjoining outbuilding to outer right.
N ELEVATION: detail largely obscured by boundary wall. M gable projecting to left with window and stack in each gablehead, lean to extension in re entrant angle to right.
4 pane and plate glass glazing in timber sash and case windows to extension (see E elevation); top opening timber windows elsewhere. Grey slates. Cavetto coped ashlar stacks with clay cans; ashlar coped skews with decorative scroll skewputts; thackstanes.
OUTBUILDINGS: pantiled, squared rubble building (former gig house) with boarded timber garage door to S and blocked semicircular hayloft opening above in gablehead; ashlar coped skews and scroll skewputts. Further pantiled outbuilding to NE of site.
BOUNDARY WALL, GATEPIERS, GATES AND RAILINGS: ashlar coped low rubble boundary walls with decorative cast iron gate and railings to SE; ashlar coped high rubble boundary walls, coped ashlar gatepiers and cast iron gates to SW.
