Probably David Bryce, later 19th century. Sited to W of Langton Mains, rectangular walled garden with tall red brick wall and with stugged ashlar Jacobean dressings. Wall made up of buttresses between each bay with shouldered surround to brick recesses; ashlar parapet and moulded coping raised to centre of each bay to segmental pediment. Ball finials above buttresses.
The walled garden is seen in 1857 but it has changed since then, in magnitude. The existing wall probably dates from the Bryce period at Langton. It is grouped with the other surviving buildings on the estate, including the principal gate. Langton house was demolished in the 1950s.
