John Kinross, circa 1895. Classical ashlar sandstone dam to SW of house at foot of Lake. Rusticated ashlar masonry supporting level balustrade with panelled dies and ashlar coping; terminal die with low console, finely carved.
The balustrading matches that on the terraces by the house. See also the Chinese Bridge, closeby to SW.
