Description

Mid to later 19th century. 2-storey, 2-bay terraced house on falling site with shop at ground. Brick, painted. W elevation with door to right, flanked by paired windows to left; 1st floor windows. Modern glazed door, small-pane windows, top-hoppers to ground floor.

Mutual gable stack to right in brick. Grey slates.

Statement of Interest

Presumably this narrow property replaced an earlier house in stone, suggested by the raised mutual gable with the house to the right. Listed for its dignified contribution to the streetscape.
