Description

Earlier 19th century, 2-storey, 3-bay house with symmetrical
SE (front) and rear facades. Rubble, with painted tooled
margins. Corniced centre door to SE; blocked centre door to
rear (Princes Street); 1 ground and 1 1st floor window to
Olrig Street; 1 blind ground and 1st window in rear; 12-pane
glazing; end and ridge stacks; West Highland slate roof.
Short length of coped rubble wall divides front court yard
from Olrig Street.

Statement of Interest

Corner site with Olrig Street, from where there is entry

Princes Street formerly Sutherland Street; name changed after

visit to Thurso by Prince of Wales in 1876.
