Description

George Angus, 1845. Classical. Tooled ashlar, polished
ashlar dressings; rubble wings to rear. 2 storeys, 3 bays
with near contemporary single storey, 2 bay wing to west
gable. Pilastered doorpiece; moulded architraved windows;
2 blind 12-pane windows to 1st floor west gable; band course
between ground and 1st floors; deep moulded eaves; panelled
gable stacks; piended slate roofs. Low coped rubble retaining
wall with cast-iron spearhead railings; 2 pairs square ashlar
gate piers with pyramidal caps; high rubble garden wall.
