Description

1883, as Caledonian Bank (dated and inscribed), possibly reworking an existing building. Ornamented with classical detail. 2-storeys, 3-bays, angled right-hand corner also ornamented and with second door; dry-dashed, ashlar dressings chanelled angles and centre main entrance bay; classical detailing; 3-light ground floor window with consoled pediment hoods; balustraded wall-head, gabled roof behind, pair modern dormers, end stacks. Basically, the original glazing pattern, sashes, 4-paned, acid-etched lower sashes in centre ground floor windows.
