Description

1930's modern industrial building (built between 1931 and 1940), cream-harled with rendered bands and detailing; horizontally-proportioned glazing (timber and metal frames), concealed pitched and slated roofs. Front is near-symmetrical, tall centre bay set slightly forward, deep-hooded doorway, elongated 3-light window above. Gateway to right, ball-finialled tall piers.

Built for S A Newall, tweeds, who began business in about 1912.
