Later 19th century. Asymmetrical 2-storey coursed rubble
detached villa with mildly Italianate flavour. Main block has
canted bay to right 1 tripartite to left, arched windows at
1st. Set back semi-elliptically arched entrance porch on W
gable, Lower 2-storey wing only slightly recessed at E gable
band of 4 small arched windows at 1st floor, low screen wall
with low segment headed openings beyond. Low-pitched
broad-eaved slated roofs, lozenge chimney shafts at gables
with fluted friezes and supporting scrolls.
Part of Kings Park Conservation Area group. The area is
an outstanding early to late Victorian villa development with
remarkably few later additions.
