Description

William Burn (Edinburgh) 1833, 3-storey simple ashlar-faced
astylar classic. 3-window King Street frontage, outer bays
slightly advanced and tripartite, ground floor channelled,
modern Roman doric columned doorpiece on left, Roman doric
pilastered and segmentally arched tripartite on right;
architraved windows, that at centre 1st floor, pedimented,
2-window Friar Street elevation, ground floor tripartites in
recesses consoled 1st floor balconies over consoled and
pedimented 1st floor windows.
6-window rear elevation with modern addition. Balustraded
parapet throughout.
