1841. 2-storey and attic, 3-window to Greyfriars Garden, ashlar and slate with consoled cornices at 1st floor windows, 2 canted dormers; painted ground floor shops.
Laid out subject to conditions but without architectural superintendence. Proposed 15th August 1834, remitted to committee which reported 3rd September 1834. Advertised, but by 20th February 1835 only 2 feus had been taken. On 8th July 1836 feuars on side petitioned to have W side set apart for gardens and this was agreed to on 19th August. Proposal to narrow width of the street was reversed 25th November 1836. (Town Council Minutes).
