Archdeacon's Manse, probably early 16th century, reconstructed by
Sir George Douglas. 2-storey, vaulted full basement and attic L-plan, rubble-built and crowstepped; screen wall with wrought-iron gate in footgate archway (Reginald Fairlie 1933) with arms of Sir George Douglas over, and larger (altered) archway; draw-well in court; 2-panelled rooms within. Renovated in 1951; E and W gables downtaken 1975 and re-built in original form.
