Description

18th century. 2-storey and attic. Painted bull-faced render; smooth painted renders.

N (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: timber door in right bay. Single window in left bay at ground floor; single window at 1st floor above. Canted dormer.

E ELEVATION: adjoining building

S ELEVATION: large dormer window with flat roof

W ELEVATION: adjoining building

12-pane sash and case windows to principal elevation; modern glazing in dormer. Grey slate roof; straight skews and skewputts; rendered and corniced stack to right gablehead; rubble stack to left gablehead.

INTERIOR: not seen 2000

Statement of Interest

Recent alterations. Run rig garden walls to rear; the run-rig gardens of houses on East Terrace appear on an 18th century map: J Adair, Map of West Lothian, 1737.
