Earlier to mid 19th century. 2-storey 5-bay tenement with shops at ground flanked by pends entrances. Coursed whinstone rubble painted, with painted ashlar margins. Raised margins and quoins; shopfront divided by shallow pilasters and with corniced fascia.
S (FRONT) ELEVATION: pend openings to outer right and left; 5-bay shopfront to centre with doorway to right off centre regular fenestration at 1st floor.
N (REAR) ELEVATION large brick addition.
12-pane timber sash and case windows. Green slate roof. Mutual stacks.
INTERIOR: not seen 1994.
