Description

Circa 1840. 3-storey with dormerless attic. 10 bays to
Causeyside Street and 7 to Forbes Place. Painted ashlar.
Causeyside Street elevation: modern doorway at right.
Ground floor sashes rebated with ovolo mouldings, moulded
cills with aprons. 5 left bays: 1st floor sashes corniced
and architraved 2nd floor 12-pane sashes architraved middle
3 with bays. 5 right bays, 1st and 2nd floor windows
rebated with moulded reveals. Eaves band raised over windows.
Rounded corner to Forbes Place elevation, which has
pilastered and corniced door-piece at left. Cilled sashes
all floors 12 pane glazing at 2nd. Eaves band, cornice and
blocking course with 2 corniced wallhead stacks to
Forbes Place. Slate with central corniced stack to
Causeyside Street.
