Late 18th-early 19th century. 2-storey, 4-bay range, white painted harl with irregularly placed black-margined windows. Shop inserted on L with timber and glass fascia. L corner canted. Apart from shop all windows 2-pane sash and case. R window on ground slightly enlarged at head. 2 small piended dormers with slated roofs and sides, 4-pane sash and case windows at front, 2 small chimney stacks on ridge, one on R rebuilt in brick. Slate roof.
Unpretentious but relatively unaltered example of the vernacular of the area, making a positive contribution to the character of the a sensitive part of the town centre of Newmilns.
