Description

Circa 1865. 2 storey, 3 bay house on sloping site with raised
basement to Marine Road. Stugged ashlar, ashlar dressings;
Gothic detailing to centre door SW elevation with flanking
colonnettes, hoodmould, decorative spandrels and fanlight.
Pointed arched windows to 1st floor under deep eaves gables.
Canted windows to ground floor NW and square projecting
window to Marine Road (NE) elevations with stiff leaf
capitals to engaged colonettes and stilted pointed heads to
each light. Low garden wall with quatrefoil pierced
balustrade; square gate piers with Gothic detailing to caps.
