Description

Mid/Late 18th century (2 building periods) with later
additions and alterations, small mansion with high
walled garden to south and west, access through
segmental arched vehicular and foot gateways with
high walled garden to south and west, access through
segmental arched vehicular and foot gateways with solid
timber doors. 2 storeys with attics, elongated
rectangular plan, 7 windows wide on SE front. SW end
bay flat roofed up to eaves of piended end of slate
roof, NE end gabled with short piended roofed single
storey extension beyond. Square, gabled porch projects
between and partially overlaps 2nd and 3rd windows from
SW. Harled with raised window and door margins. 1st
floor windows 6-pane sash (1 at NE end smaller), ground
floor reglazed with double and single pane sashes,
except 2 smaller windows towards NE end. Rear elevation
has bowed stair projection with semi-conical roof.
