Description

Circa 1830 villa set behind high garden wall with corniced
doorway. unusual asymmetrical composition. L-plan droved
ashlar frontage, pedimented window gable front projects to
left, margined and aproned ground floor window and segment
headed first floor window with cill band set in segmentally
arched recess, arched attic light cuts base of pediment above;
remainder 2-storey 2-window with cornice and blocking course,
simple square headed windows, open porch in re-entrant angle
with Greek Doric column, unfluted but with concave base.
Rectilinear fanlight, otherwise largely reglazed, 2 windows
still have lying panes. Slated roofs. Modern single storey
extension with frontal timber pergola to SW.
