Description

4 17th century obelisks reset in 19th century gatepiers.

Lodge built into high park wall with ball finials on outer

angles, NE above bonded Roman Doric circular pier built into wall. Sandstone rubble with piended slate roof. Return elevation has 1 window outwith the gate, 1 door and 2 windows (1 bipartite) within. 4 gatepiers with linking rubble screen wall pierced by doorways (right blocked). All piers channelled with entablatures and topped with obelisks, centre piers wider and panelled.
