Circa 1880. Single storey, L-plan made Z-plan by addition, lodge. Rubble masonry, slate roof. Base course; windows mainly sash and case (modern metal frames at addition), some segmental-arched with raised margins; moulded stacks. 17th century armorial inserted in N wall of garage.
GATEPIERS: 6 gatepiers, tooled ashlar, moulded at angles and with pyramidal caps.
The armorial derives from the former Durham Memorial Aisle at St Rule's Church.
