Description

Circa 1860, 2 storey symmetrical facade, 3 wide bays with
classical details. Polished ashlar. Central bay with recessed
door set behind doorpiece of engaged Corinthian columns and
pilasters, similarly detailed window above. Outer bays with
tripartites in each floor set in shallow linking panel;
ground floor windows with apron panels. Plinth, moulded cill
band to 1st floor, entablature and parapet, corniced end
stacks.

Statement of Interest

Rebuilt after 1857 incorporating fabric of Roseville Cottage. Probably built for British Linen Company.
