Later 19th century, restored by William A Cadell Architects, 1979. 2-storey, 3-bay semi-detached house sited on falling ground with lower 2-storey bay to right. Stugged and snecked cream sandstone rubble.
E (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: fanlit door to centre with window to right and left. 3 symmetrically disposed windows at 1st floor. Lower wing with small window at ground, from blocked former garage opening, single window at 1st floor.
12-pane sash and case windows. Grey slate roof, ashlar coped skews, sandstone corniced end stacks.
BOUNDARY WALL: rubble wall, ashlar coped to right, on falling ground of hill. Gateway with 2-leaf boarded doors to right.
B Group with 6 Union Road (adjoined to S) listed separately. Restored 1979 by William A Cadell Architects, Grange, Linlithgow. Awarded the Saltire Society Award for Restoration 1979.
