Earlier 19th century, altered and extended at rear. 2-storey, 3-bay house with linked single storey pavilions and architraved doorpiece with scrolled brackets. Coursed ashlar with stone pinning, contrasting quoins and margins, base course, sill course and eaves course, dry-dash to sides and rear. Round-headed windows in pavilions.
S (MAIN) ELEVATION: Symmetrical. Deep set panelled door with tripartite fanlight at centre and windows in flanking bays, flat-roof link to right with window and adjoining pavilion with central window, lean-to extension with row of 3 connected modern windows; pitch-roof link to left with window and adjoining pavilion with central window: regular fenestration to 1st floor of main block.
N ELEVATION: centre sloping-roof projection to almost full height with 2 doors and central window over, window at 1st and 2nd floor to left with modern wooden extension adjoining pavilion; window at 1st and 2nd floor to right with modern extension adjoining pavilion and clasping main building.
W ELEVATION: window to outer right at 1st floor of main block, modern window at centre of pavilion.
Mainly 12-pane glazing pattern in sash and case windows, modern plate glass glazing in left link, 1st floor centre window at rear, and in all modern windows. Graded grey slates. Ashlar coped skews and square skewputts, ashlar coped stacks with cans.
GATEPIERS AND BOUNDARY WALLS: pyramid capped ashlar gatepiers with coped rubble boundary walls.
