Earlier to mid 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay, rectangular-plan pair of flatted dwellings on corner site, converted to shop at ground right, in irregular terrace. Squared and snecked whinstone with contrasting long and short work quoins.
S (HIGH STREET) ELEVATION: paired doors with plate-glass fanlights at centre, single window in outer bay to left, 2 19th century shop windows with door between to right; regular fenestration at 1st floor.
E ELEVATION: shop windows to left with window at 1st floor above.
Modern glazing throughout, sash and case effect to residential areas at 1st floor, "stick-on" small-pane effect glazing pattern at ground. Purple slates, coped ashlar gablehead stacks with some cans, coped ashlar skews with scrolled skewputts to front and rear, thackstanes and decorated rainwater hopper to W.
Good roofline. Reinstatement of timber, traditional glazing and doors would see the property's merits increase.
