Terrace comprising late 18th century 2-storey, 3-bay symmetrical house extended in early 19th century with 2-bay asymmetrical house to E. Cement-rendered and lined gabled porch centring W bays, entrance door to E house in bay to outer right. Harled walls with painted stone dressings. Irregularly fenestrated rear and E elevations; blank W gable.
12-pane timber sash and case windows surviving at No 2. Purple-grey slate roof, piended to E, with cement-rendered skew copes to W. Coped rubble apex and ridge stacks with circular cans.
The modern glazing at No 4 is out of character with this otherwise fine example of Lerwick?s housing, but it continues to make an important contribution to the streetscape in its grouping with the Parish Church and 26 Church Road.
