Description

Later 19th century. 4 pairs of 2-storey houses in terrace,
each 2 bays. Polished ashlar. Each pair with 2 central doors,
single 1st floor windows above, 2-storey canted windows in
outer bays. Plate glass sashes throughout. Heavily bracketed
eaves capped with decorative iron cresting; round-headed
dormers, mostly with decorative finials.
Steep slated roofs with platforms; decorative cast iron
brattishing (iron work mostly removed from numbers 12 and
14). Some square gatepiers remain.
