Early 20th century, altered at ground. 3-storey with attic, 3-bay Wrenaissance with shop at ground, gabled and platform roof. Polished red sandstone ashlar with raised quoin strips. 1st floor windows lugged and architraved, 2nd floor with Gibbsian surrounds. 1st floor dividing course and mutuled eaves cornice with blocking course. Keystones.
NORTH (HIGH STREET) ELEVATION: symmetrical. Modern shop at ground with door to centre and flanking display windows. 1st floor with 3 tall windows, 2nd floor also with 3 windows. Centre bay, advanced above ground, with segmental pediment breaking eaves line; corniced, square pedestals to outer angles and tripartite, pedimented, timber dormer window to centre with finialled, projecting, piended roof section behind.
12- and 15-pane glazing in timber sash and case windows; small-pane glazing to timber dormer window. Grey slates. Coped ashlar end stacks (corniced to W) with cans, ashlar-coped skews.
