Description

c.1835. Georgian. 2 storeys; 3-bay front. Droved ashlar.
Corniced. Pilasters and architrave-cornice to doorway.
Slated roof.

Statement of Interest

Not in Wood's Town Atlas. Kinross was made a Burgh of

Barony 1541. From 1742 the inhabitants elected the

'Steeple Committee' to govern the town. In 1892 it was

made a Police Burgh.
