Probably 18th century. 2-stage dovecot. Random rubble with squared rubble quoins and quoin strips. Keystoned, and voussoired round-headed door.
Square tower (see Notes) to 1st stage with rounded-headed boarded timber door to S, further door to W and narrow opening to; urns at angles (those to NE and NW missing). Octagonal dovecot at 2nd stage with cast-iron tie plate to each face at 2nd stage giving way to slated polygonal roof with deeply overhanging eaves and flight-holes to S.
Group with Bow Butts House. The 1st stage was probably used as a garden store The dovecot formerly held 88 nest boxes.
