Perhaps George Smith 1829, porch local artisan work slightly later, E wing c 1900, Gillespie and Scott 2-storey and basement 3-window harled with margins, centre advanced bay ashlar, artisan Roman doric column porch, elaborate traceried glazing; Edwardian E wing with balustraded S ground floor bay, large E ingleneuk; elaborate interior work. Piended

slated roofs. Garden walls are of earlier date.

"The Green Lady's House" interesting associations, home of George Darsie (1841-1919) and his wife Tetuanuireiaiteruiate, the Princess Titana Marama (1842-98) of Haapiti, Tahiti. See Gourlay p88. The garden walls form part of the Backdykes-Card's Wynd pathway-see note to item 191.
