Description

Early 19th century, 4 bay, 3 storey with giant order pilaster
strips at ends rusticated at ground floor. Continuous ground
floor pilastraded shop front survives at No 43 and at
centre door but modern shop front at No 37. Upper floors
rendered, lined as ashlar to left, in imitation of rock-faced
rubble to right. Modern glazing in right hand bays. Moulded
cornice break forward over pilasters. Elevation to
Union Street: 3 bay, coursed squared rubble with polished
dressings, slated roof with brick stacks.
