Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey and basement, 3-bay rectangular-plan house. Harled and rendered, ashlar dressings. Base course, eaves, low blocking course.

N (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: double flight steps to central entrance door on raised principal floor. Doorpiece with consoled cornice, 4-pane fanlight with rounded lights.

Windows flanking with ashlar cills, plain margins. 1st floor windows smaller.

E ELEVATION: blind gable end, neighbouring property (43) built against it at ground floor. Rendered.

W ELEVATION: gable ends of 45 and 47 now connected by bridging extension, passageway at ground level.

12-pane timber sash and windows. Shallow pitch, grey slate, skews, skewputts, broad gablehead stacks.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1996.
